CHASE THE RISING SUN

Three cheers to Michael and Lauren Crigler for the amazing success of their Chase the Rising Sun event. Walking into the gallery, you were immediately arrested by the visual wonderland of socially conscious art, which delves into the severed relationship between man and nature.

While the exhibit explored the realness of life, rebellion and idealism, it did so with elements of humor and sincerity. You could feel the deep sense of sorrow emanating from the tear stained Native Americans, and then smirk two steps later at a tongue in cheek image of talking banana. After one walk through, I was ready to sell all of my things and Chase the Rising Sun with them.
